AUTEFA Solutions – History & Heritage Brands

The history of AUTEFA Solutions brings together the experience of several long-established companies and technology brands. Its roots extend from F.O.R., founded in Biella in 1907, and OCTIR, founded in 1911, to AUTEFA in Augsburg since 1947 and FEHRER in Linz since 1953, as well as STRAHM technology, which is continued today within AUTEFA Solutions.

Each of these heritage brands has contributed its own machines, processes and technological developments to the expertise of AUTEFA Solutions today. Carding technology, crosslapping, needling, thermobonding and drying, fiber baling systems, as well as automation and intralogistics, are closely linked to this industrial heritage.

Since 2011, key competencies of these long-established companies have been brought together under the AUTEFA Solutions name. Their experience, technological know-how and the continuous development of machines and processes continue to form the foundation for modern production lines and customized solutions.
